The 2021–2022 Season includes seven Broadway blockbusters at the Orpheum and Golden Gate Theatres: A CHRISTMAS CAROL , HADESTOWN , THE PROM , OKLAHOMA! , TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD , MOULIN ROUGE! THE MUSICAL , and AIN'T TOO PROUD – THE LIFE AND TIMES OF THE TEMPTATIONS .
Everyone’s invited to the joyous Broadway hit that New York Magazine hails as “smart and big-hearted” while The New York Times declares it “makes you believe in musical comedy again!” THE PROM is a new musical comedy about big Broadway stars on a mission to change the world and the love they discover that unites them all.

THE PROM features direction and choreography by Tony Award winner Casey Nicholaw (Mean Girls, The Book of Mormon), a book by Tony Award winner Bob Martin (The Drowsy Chaperone) and Tony Award nominee Chad Beguelin (Aladdin), music by Tony Award nominee Matthew Sklar (Elf) and lyrics by Tony Award nominee Chad Beguelin.

We are committed to providing a healthy and safe environment for audiences, performers and staff, and are working closely with city and state officials to confirm safety guidelines and procedures for your return. Our plan is to open at 100% capacity and we are developing safety guidelines that everyone who enters our theatres must follow. Measures may include the wearing of masks, proof of vaccination & proof of negative covid test. We will continue to update this page as we get more confirmed information.
IMPORTANT TICKET POLICY
BroadwaySF has instituted a temporary COVID-19 exchange/refund policy. For tickets purchased on or before December 31, 2021, under the following circumstances, BroadwaySF will permit you to exchange your tickets for the same Event at a later date; or if such exchange is not possible or not practical, e.g., the Event is one performance or limited run, refund your ticket purchase:
• You or someone in your party has tested positive for COVID-19 during the 14-day period preceding the Event;
• You or someone in your party is not feeling well during the 14-day period preceding the Event and has exhibited symptoms consistent with COVID-19; or
• You otherwise feel that you represent a significant transmission risk, e.g., you are caring for someone that has COVID-19 or is not feeling well.
